SPRED Labor Day Retreat for Friends

The Annual Labor Day Retreat for adults (18 +) with developmental disabilities will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Our participants’, also called “Friends” are paired up with specialized volunteers in a 2-1 ratio. The day retreat includes breaking up into small groups for a specialized faith formation session, enjoying a filling lunch, a spiritual activity and a SPRED Liturgy and late afternoon social with music and dancing. This is then followed by dinner and goodbyes. Friends and Catechists who attend the retreat come away from the experience renewed with love for one another and affirmed of their rightful place among the faithful.
