New Coach Background Check and Sign-Ups! (Please read in full)
All Coaches or any Volunteers interacting with CYO players must complete a background check. As a New CYO Coach, select your Location and Time below by simply selecting the Click Here link associated with your preferred location. (Please bring the completed LiveScan form to your appointment and a valid driver's license--preferred-- or other form of government issued identification. You can download the LiveScan form from the sign-up Genius). Before the Background, You Must Complete Virtus Online. (Please watch full 6-minutes).
Secondly: If you are a New Cross-Country Coach, please complete the following New Cross-Country Coach GoogleForm after completing your sign-up genius so that I can contact you regarding the online workshop (https://forms.gle/WttgvjVrKtUB1k9t7).
Returning CYO Coaches who have already completed fingerprinting through CYO are not required to do so again. If you are unsure, you can check your Virtus account.
Select your location and time for Fingerprinting Background check- Last Date: Saturday, October 11th (12:30 PM to 2:00 PM): St. Isidore 440 La Gonda Wy, Danville, CA 94526. (Click Here to Register for Finger Printing at St. Isidore in Danville).

DOGS At Meets? Not a good idea!
While it seems nice to brng your dog to a Cross Country meet, the dogs become nervous and can create a hazard for children and the dog. We welcome Service Animals, but ask that other dogs are left at home! -

Important 2025 season Dates
- To see what parish you should register with, click here.
- Practice may begin: Friday, August 15
- Parish/School Coordinators' Meeting (1): Tuesday, August 19 at 7:00 PM Via Zoom.
- New Coaches Certification Workshop: Wednesday, August 20 via Zoom. (Sign-Up Here).
- Returning Coaches Meeting (Zoom): Thursday, August 21. (Please contact your parish coordinator for information.)
- Parish/School Coordinators' Meeting (2): Wednesday, September 11
- MEET DATES: Important (Meets 1 and 5 are Diocesan Meets and include all runners. Split Meets at Parish Specific and will be indicated shortly.)
- Meet 1: The Oakland Diocese Open Results, SAT, SEPT. 13 at Shadow Cliffs: First heat 10:00 AM with coach meeting at 9:15.
- Meet 2: The Split Decision, FRI, SEPT. 26 at Oakhill Park Results and Joaquin Miller Park Results
- Meet 3: The Split Relay, FRI, OCT. 3 at Oakhill Park and Crown Beach
- Meet 4: The Last Split: FRI, OCT. 10 at Shadow Cliffs and Joaquin Miller
- Meet 5: The Oakland Diocese Championship, FRI, OCT. 17 at Quarry Lakes at 5:00 PM with coach meeting at 4:15.
- Meets (except for Meets 1 and 5, Diocese Open and Diocese Championship) will begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp, Coaches Meeting at 4:45 p.m.
